CLASS INFORMATION

Whether it's a relaxing Meditation/Pranayama session or a more intense Power Flow session, The Yoga Barre of LKN offers a great variety of classes that will help you to get the perfect workout, any day of the week!

YOGA FIT
Yoga Fit is a full body mat workout with the heat turned up. You can expect a great sweat in this 45-minute low to medium impact workout to kickstart your metabolism and increase your endurance and overall strength. Optional weights, bands, and balls may be used. This class will switch up your routine and be a great complement for any Flow classes for taking your yoga practice up a notch.

YOGA FLOW
Stay connected with this Vinyasa style flow class. This class links breath to movement and emphasis will be on proper alignment. Sequences will include a variety of grounding poses and standing postures to promote strength, stability, flexibility, and muscular endurance throughout the body. Class will wind down into a blissfull deep stretch leaving you feeling energized and renewed and is open to all levels.

BARRE
This class is a total body workout that utilizes traditional dance movements that will boost your metabolism, build strength and endurance while leaving you feeling accomplished. Expect Barre class to incorporate small isolated movements to fatigue the upper and lower body muscle groups and will incorporate a large range of motion to get the heart pumping. Some of the benefits: Stronger Muscles, Increased Flexibility, Loss of Inches, Better Posture. A variety of props may be used. All levels welcome, various modifications are provided throughout the class.

MEDITATION/PRANAYAMA
A session of simple and guided mediations using various techniques with no attachment to any religious practice or belief. Sessions may include yogic breathing and concentration exercises (Prayanama). Regular practice purifies the body and calms the mind, eventually leading to experiences of deep relaxation, peace, and vitality. Sessions are suitable for anyone seeking to calm the mind and revitalize the body. Any member or nonmember is welcome to participate free of charge.

YOGA/ STRETCH/ ALIGN
This practice focuses on reconstructing and re-calibrating the poses from the foundation. Detailed instructions are given in order to create a thorough understanding of the poses with the purpose of aligning the energy with the individual physical geometry. Suitable for students seeking to build or regain strength from inside out. Fundamental poses and preparations for inversion are taught. Arm balances, back bends and some full inversions, may be included.

YOGA BARRE
This dynamic, total body workout incorporates elements of Yoga and Barre designed to promote strength, balance, and flexibility. Class combines Barre style training with Yoga postures in order to build strength and endurance while lengthening and stretching tight muscles. Some light weights and a yoga mat may be used.

DEEP STRETCH
Deep Stretch allows the body’s muscles, nerves, and connective tissues to repair and be replenished. You will move through a series of grounding poses that will stretch out your entire body. The slow meditative pace of this class allows your body and your mind to create space and release the stresses of daily life, leaving you feeling restored, rejuvenated, and calm. The sessions are open to all levels.

POWER FLOW
If you are looking for a challenge, this class is for you! This is a well-rounded physical class that includes sun salutations, standing poses, arm balances, backbends, and poses that get you upside-down. You will experience moving meditation that synchronizes breath to movement. This class will ignite your internal fire while still maintaining a calm and balanced mind.
Some yoga knowledge is recommended. First time yogis should take Yoga Flow classes prior to embarking on their Power Flow journey.

SLOW FLOW AND STRETCH
This is a slower paced flow class designed as a weekly reset for mind and body.
This practice emphasizes mindful breathing, simple flow sequences with long holds and deep stretches. All levels welcome

Benefits of moving slow:
• Builds more strength than moving quickly
• Balances your nervous system and focuses your mind
• Moving slowly honors your breath


HOT POWER FLOW
SOME LIKE IT HOT! This class uses our infrared heat panels to keep the room at a toasty 95+ degrees. You will flow into various core-strengthening poses, increasing stamina and strength. While improving both physical and mental balance and flexibility. This flow class is excellent for your overall wellbeing. Level 2-3
Some yoga knowledge is recommended. First time yogis should take Yoga Flow classes prior to embarking on their Power Flow journey.

EASY LIKE SUNDAY MORNING
This class is slower paced than our other yoga classes and designed as an introduction to the practice of yoga. Come learn, play and have fun in a supportive environment.
This class will focus on safe alignment, modifications, and the use of props.
You don’t need to touch your toes, all you need is a willingness to TRY! Remember, we all had our first yoga class.

Please arrive 10 minutes early, bring your own mat and water.

Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, we will not be able to provide props at this time.
However, we do have a prop kit available for purchase, if interested.
